Friday, Sept 27TH- FLATBREADS!
Chef Lou holds his popular flatbreads class with his special, thin pizza dough and creative toppings to customize your own flatbread. This is a perfect cooking style to do at home with friends or family or just create great appetizers for your next entertaining. Chef Lou will make you confident in creating this dough and baking with yummy toppings. As usual, you will have an appetizer upon arrival, a gourmet salad with your flatbread and a sweet ending of our famous tiramisu parfait!
Friday, Oct 4th - GREEK DINNER
Chef Linda will join Chef Lou in creating a Greek Dinner. Students will learn to roll their own stuffed grapes leaves (dolmades) Grill chicken souvlaki and make Greece’s favorite dessert, Baklava, from scratch! Everything made will be enjoyed for dinner as well as a hummus appetizer and small Greek salad!
Friday, Oct 25th - SPANISH TAPAS
Chef Lou will guide this class in making their own Spanish appetizers to dazzle your friends and family at your own Spanish evening! Start the evening with a simple crostini with roasted peppers, Iberico ham and Manchego cheese Then you will learn make the famous potato tortilla, served in most Spanish bars and Albóndigas with mushrooms, a delicious pork meatball with bechamel filling and sauteed mushrooms with a tomato & paprika sauce. Enjoy an ample serving of each tapas as they are completed and end with a finish of Spain’s most famous dessert, Flan! Bring your own Spanish wine to enjoy with this dinner.
Friday, Nov 15th - FETTUCINE AND CHICKEN CUTLETS
These are two of Chef Lou’s extradordinary basics that he will share with you! Homemade fettucine with an authentic alfredo sauce and perfectly breaded and fried chicken cutlets. As usual, enjoy an appetier upon arrival, a Kitchen 19 salad, dinner sized portion of your food and a sweet ending of our freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies
Friday, Dec 20th - A HOLIDAY PORK DINNER
Chef Lou will lead the class in stuffing a pork for a Porchetta Roast and then making the delicate crespelle -style manicotti - stuffed crepes instead of pasta! Ours will be stuffed with sauteed spinach and ricotta cheese and served with a light marinara sauce. We will also compose a beautiful winter salad for your dinner with lettuces and vegetables that are highlighted in winter and bathed in a homemade vinaigrette. Enjoy an appetizer upon arrival, your dinner-sized portions of food and a sweet ending of our tiramisu parfait!
