Miss Danielle will lead Junior Chefs in the following Classes for THE WINTER/SPRING ‘25 SEASON

These classes are geared toward 8 to 11 year old kids (or mature 7 year-olds that have a little experience in your kitchen!) We have developed lessons that require a little more supplemental supplies and ingredients than the past and always include food that they take home to share.

Jan 18th, 11 am to 12:15 pm - Tacos!

Miss Danielle will lead this class in making homemade tacos from scratch. Instead of beef, they will make a healthier ground chicken and talk about seasoning, chop fresh tomato salsa and build 3 tacos to take home!

Feb 8th, 11 am to 12:15 pm - Valentine’s Day Bark!

Miss Danielle will lead this class in making a beautiful, delicious white and dark chocolate bark with a Valentine’s Day theme! Each student will make their own bark with their own melted chocolate and decorate their own way to take home to share with their family.

Mar 15th , 11 am to 12:15 pm - Minestrone Soup!

Junior Chefs will make a minestrone soup together as a team with lessons on chopping vegetables, discussing fresh herbs, using and understanding frozen vegetables, adding beans as protein and finally, taking soup for lunch at home! They will also make toasty cheesy bread while soup is finishing cooking!

Apr 12th, 11am to 12:15 pm - Deviled Eggs!

Junior Chefs will make homemade deviled eggs and decorate them to look like chicks! Lessons in hard-boiling eggs, ricing the cooked yolks, filling the eggs with a pastry bag and decorating with fresh veggies to look like a chick. Each student will take home 6 eggs to share with the family.

May 10th, 11 am to 12:15 pm - Cake Pops!

Miss Danielle will have kids dip their cake pops in melted chocolate - with a choice of dark or white chocolate, then decorate them with a spring theme and will package them up to give their Mom for Mother’s Day on Sunday!
